E-Vents/Vents

Post by dporter on Sat Jul 18, 2009 3:10 pm

I own a pair of e-vents and they are most definitely my favorite mask. The only mask i'd take instead of the one i have right now would be one of the 09's.

PLUS'S
+They look sick
+Theyre one of the most easy masks out there to take apart and clean/interchange lenses and such.
+The e-vents have the soft ears on them which are awesome
+There are about 4 or 5 different kinds of lenses, both thermal and non-thermal which you can interchange between both vents and e-vents, same with the mask straps.
+Comfortable

MINUS'S
-The only little minus i can come up with is that there is a little bit of an echo when you're yelling out positions and stuff, but when you're actually playing in a game you won't even notice it with the adrenaline rush and other noises going on, so it's really almost a non-existant minus for me.

OVERALL RATING-(1-10) 10

Nice review dporter, I was going to get Events/Vents awhile back, but I got flexes instead.

They look hard to breath through?

I think the 08's more b'dass than the 09's.

yeah, they might look hard to breathe through, but they're really not. you get all the air flow you need. and something else i forgot in the review was that the lenses that aren't technically thermal basically are, because they don't fog up

A 10? Really? They are perfect? I guess I just have trouble giving things 10's.

Impressive, I don't think I could ever NOT have something that I had a little problem with.

I don't think any mask could get a perfect 10 unless it always has bounces, was dirt cheap, lenses never scratch, and had a integrated hydration system.

I'd have to give mine a 10 as well, I have never had an issue w/ my E-vents at all. And they are so easy to clean.... it takes about 10 secs, and your mask is torn down to clean, swapping the lenses is so easy! and most of all they are VERY COMFY

10of10
