Red Sox 2010

Post by JSmith on Mon Mar 01, 2010 6:48 pm

I for one am pumped for this year, well, I get pumped for every year.... I think our pitching is going to be the key and we should take the wild card. I say that because I am not dumb and understand that the yanks have far too much talent. I think that wiht the pitching we have we can beat them in the playoffs, well, at least we'll have a shot.

They better keep Wakefield as a starter. They are thinking about putting him in the bullpen.

I did NOT agree with the Lackey signing. $82.5 million for a guy over 30 who isn't named Mariano Rivera is too much in my opinion.

I like the Lackey signing, It's better then the J.D. Drew contract.

Lackey is for sure a better sign than Drew.
