How was H20? I always wanted to do that but never did when I have the Vdubs. Cant wait til you tint that bad larry! Hopefully you can get those stickers off your back window heater grid without wreckin it.

ok so, small update for you guys. i know most of you wont get the vinyl thing...its a VW thing, anyway one to pictures

i had a sludge problem so i started to tear the car down a rebuild with new parts

built a custom catch can to fix the broke PCV lines

color matched the bumper markers

shaved the engine cover and painted it white and stickered it

started to sticker out the rear window

did my mirrors too

lowered it more in the back

put in the new style gauges

got a new euro plate

got me a nifty little gopro

i also put on clear fender markers, painted the lower engine cover and the battery cover white, and im going to start rewrapping the interior this weekend

i think thats it?

dropped in 4 new spark plugs bkr7e's and put some LED strips in the trunk so i can see at night. because VW had the bright idea of using one little POS light in a corner...so i upgraded the lighting situation with 2 white LED strips. $20 for the LEDs at autozone and $9.40 for the plugs and a plug wrench at advance auto...not a bad deal i say

old 6e's on the right and new 7e's on the left

and the non ricey tucked away LED strips wired into the stock light so they pop on when the trunk opens

i also finished up some more of the engine covers, and tore out and redesigned the stock PCV system, now unnecessary parts have been removed and capped off and a more simple custom catch can i made was installed. as well as some polished trunk struts

oh just got this too, my new plate

+1 to corey!

new update!!

i got the rest of my interior LEDs in today as well as my plate LEDs. i also picked up a pair of OEM R/C/R/C tails from the 04 models, a pair of clear bumper markers, and a new south performance intake manifold power gasket, which is good for another 5% power. keeps the air temps between 20-30 degrees colder and the temp of the manifold its self stay down 30-50 degrees over stock it conducts less than 1/500 of the heat the steel gasket does. also picked up a euro plate frame to cover up the holes in my front rub strip til i can get a euro front rub next week. also got a custom built blue LED for my boost gauge to match it more closely to my gauge custer rather than it being white.

they are white they just look a little blue in the picture

tails (oem)

bumper markers

power gasket

dyno shet for power gasket

night shots of the LEDs
