Re: Scrimmages
yeah we've got a speedball setup here in hampden with air. yes, i know, air. it'd be byop (we always just get walmart paint and stuff) and we pay 10 bucks for all day air.
Re: Scrimmages
well, seems like the whole rotation thing isn't going to happen. oh well

Re: Scrimmages
LOL. I love how people are b***h about the prices at V-town over the weekend. His prices for air were the same as always, he just made entry $15 higher this time. Overall you were still paying the same as his advertised price on the website. The first tournament everyone caught a break and played cheaper than the $35-$40 he originally said. The first tournament he charged open play prices, and this past weekend he raised them a bit. Wonder where that prize money comes from? Its a business kids.
If you guys don't like it. Don't play. Its that simple. Welcome to tournament paintball. If you think his prices are bad, go down to Boston where its $25 for entry and air and pay $60 a case. Or in Rochester where its $15 and air and $70 a case. Save your gas and travel down to Birch Hill for $20 for entry and air and pay $65 a case. Paintball is expensive. Deal with it.

It might seem that I might be a bit biased of V-town, but thats because their prices are really good. If you guys don't like it. Don't play. Its that simple.
I am looking at the brochure right now and it says "$25 registration fee, free air", everyone has a perfectly legitimate reason to be a little touchy. I know that I am a little touchy, because when I called ahead to register, I asked if the prices would be the same, and I was informed that they would be, which they were not. I told them that I understood that Fields are a business too, and that they have to make money, but I am not going to pay for something that is advertised as free. It is like seeing a commercial for the Dollar Menu, then going into McDonald's for that same item, and them ringing you up for $2.50.
Re: Scrimmages
it wasnt really the prices that bothered me it was the fact that the day before he told me the price woud b 25 bucks including air and i even double checked and said that entry fee includes air he said yea 25 bucks and then u buy ur paint its just he lied to me that bothers me i would have been ok with it if he said it was entry fee plus air plus paint

Re: Scrimmages
I don't have a brochure but his "website" says $35 before, $40 day of, which was what I was referring to. If he said that air was free when you called, then that was wrong of him. Like Mac said a couple of days before the tournament I was there setting up camera things, and Nick was trying for fix his compressor cause it was crappy and broke. He couldn't fix it, and instead of canceling the tournament he traveled to get a new compressor that cost him $10,000 so we could have a good tournament. Anyways, whats done is done and lets keep things scrimmage related.
