Shipyard 2012
Shipyard will be going all out in 2012, with the end of the world coming and all, why not? We will be running teams in all divisions and styles of play possible, at most regional and some national leagues. If you are interested in hopping on the ship let me know. Right now we are bringing back just about 100% of last years roster, which shows what a tight knit team this is. If you want to go all in and play X-ball we will have a FOXBALL franchise, this is for serious players who have no problem with lots of practice. For experienced players that choose a more layed back schedule we are doing 7-Man in the NEPL. Plans for either or both of these teams to go to a National in their respective leagues at the end of the year will be discussed. Pump, 3-Man, and 5-man teams will also be formed next year, even a scenario team if the interest is enough.
Shipyard is based out of Maine but has players from all over New England, even as far away as Rhode Island, we do not believe in handcuffing our players with sponsorships. If you play for us you pay for yourself, but you can shoot and wear what you want, you can play wherever you want, you do not need to ref, or dig through trash cans for bottles to fund your team. Just paintball, and beer.

Re: Shipyard 2012
It all depends on what level team you join. Last year our X-ball team practiced twice a month and had an event once a month. That's a about $300 a month each, not counting gas to and from Mass every time, and food. Our 5-man team on the other hand had about 4 practices all year, all in Maine, with 5 events, they had less monthly cost. If you started on a 3-man team, $100 dollars a month might do it. Pretty much to be on a regular team, you need a job, or a sugar momma, or really cool parents.

I'm thinking of instead of throwing my son into 3-man, doing a Fox NPS 5-man novice team. I'd pay for the teams franchise entrance and we'd be on a limited practice schedule. Our main focus would be to bring new players into the game and their development. I'd be interested in some new players and some veterans to help keep it interesting. Would any of you be interested in joining us.

Where can I get an application? Are you an equal oppurtunity employer? Do I get my own parking spot? When do I see a salary increase? Is there a health and dental plan? Stock options? Holla.
