droid X vs i phone 4. i can get a new phone on the 21st and not sure witch one to get. opinions please!

The app store is still larger than the droid market, however I like the droid market because more apps are free and I prefer the Android interface over the iPhone. You can jailbreak your iPhone easily and get all the apps for free if you want (i did it with my iPod, haven't paid for a single app). I pick droid over all if you get a HTC phone because I think their phones are better built than Apple's

and w/ a droid you can use VERIZON or US CELLULAR... and be able to have service EVERYWHERE!!

I have service w/ us cell in places that Verizon, ATT and T-Mobile people have Nothing!!

I was one of the ONLY people out in the desert in Cali to have a clear and usable signal...

i would be using verizon. so that really doesn't matter..

Thats more of a phone dependent thing anyway. Some Android based phones are cheap and suck, so get a quad band phone if you can (HTC, HTC, HTC) preferably ones made by HTC.

The iphone is now on verizon. They just announced it yesterday.

I love Apple but my friend here at school has a Droid and my room mate has an iPhone and as much as I love Apple, I prefer the Droid, however I don't have much experience on either so for your own sake don't count my opinion very heavily.
