Re: I want your opinion
Well I believe there is interest and the will to learn and improve. When we do this, which we will, what exactly is going to happen. I get that you want to get everybody in a group, get everybody to play competitively, and get everybody to play and practice together. Would we show up and play? Or would this be structured? And the word will be spread, trust me
.
Re: I want your opinion
This will be structured in a fun sensible way.

So who else have you mentioned this to besides us? How many other people are interested.
Re: I want your opinion
This is the first place I have mentioned any of this aside from teammates.. But I definitely have some people in mind that I intend to mention it to.

Well this sounds like a great idea and I really think we should extend this to PBNation, TechPB, McarterBrown, etc. For this to work we would need to contact all of the fields too.
Re: I want your opinion

Re: I want your opinion
Hey guys, my name's Nick.
When Richie and I discussed this the vision I had in mind is very similar to a program quite similar to that of the Palm Beach Viper Organization. I capitalize that title out of sheer respect. This program would be intended for players who have the interests and goals of progressing their skills and competitive abilities. Attica/Shadowkillers would be administrating this organization. Coaching/Playing, etc. Perhaps there would be a full time coach in the future but it's speculation, as all of this is. However, this is how beautiful idea fluorish into reality.
I was thinking that players would pay something like $50 a month to be a part of this. The money is to counter-act the cost that these intense practices will cost. And of course, the service. It's, like Rich said, quite like a clinic. There will be note taking of individual players and constant critiquing (if you're too sensitive to be yelled at, stop reading right now.) Paint would be a little more expensive than cost but only slightly. The paint would be filtered back to the field owner, IE Merritt as an example.
It's not a baby-sitting service, this would be those with the dedication and passion for this sport to take it further. With the assistance of experienced players. It will be hard work, absolutely.

ADMIN, I want to make a point that this is all an idea that will not take roots unless we physically see an abundance of interest. Not just people saying that this sounds like a good idea or that they would do it. Fair weather is still many months away. I don't want to make this a big deal until we know for sure that it's going to be machined and finished, if you know what I mean.

Yes I understand, but you can't make this a reality without people saying that this sounds like a good idea at the start.
How many times a month would this occur? How much would a player expect to spend on one day total? How long would we practice in one day?
I know this is all hypothetical, but we have to establish certain things before this goes from a theory to a reality.
Re: I want your opinion
This would definitely be the stepping stone to a feeder program. This would not only advance paintball in maine in general, it would bring back the interest of the sport and make it accesible to learn and be a part of something bigger and better than just backyard games. Theres alot of potential players out there who have either given up or just been jaded by bad experiences and this could be the opportunity for them to take the dust off there markers and get back in to it !!!! Hope this pans out guys.
P.s. Is there a senior citizen discount ? Just kidding...
Edit: Im refering to my old timer badge...just so no one is confused...
