HURRICANES Done????

This really sucks I know a few kids who played on the hurricanes B team when they had one. Any one from NE trying to go pro are either move to another state or start from the ground up. Kinda sucks for Benny Carol who just bumped up from D1 to pro for world cup. And Nepl is now open to pros I believe, cause there are people with deep pockets who won't hesitate to hire these big guns (might be wrong) is this good or bad for competition or just New england paintball?

Damn that does suck, ive followed the canes for a long time, and bringing pros into the nepl could create good competition and bring the spotlight on nepl better, but it could have an opposite affect and make that one team that has deep pockets invincible.

I would not say invincible 1 player can make a difference but the team as a whole has to change the out come. Example one axbl team had a player from dynasty play for them for a match against hustle witch were formed of mostly d2 players and hustle won. Not to say having to play against pros will be easy but it will make you better

well i mean if one team buys up a few players from the canes then that is creating a power house, and since some teams have real deep pockets and investors then it could be a big possibility.

I agree. There is also something else that bugs me if they stayed with 7man would this have happened they were a top 5 team in 7man but bottom 5 in the psp. and this all due to funding. I bet it would have happened even if they won at 7man because I think no 1 gives a rats a** about a uspl pro team cause 4 of those new uspl pro teams came from d1 to pro and they don't have any paint sposorship (united, elevation, mutiny, explicit and legend)

But I still like elevation because they never made it to sunday in D1. Then they went pro for one event and smashed Ironmen.

Real sad day! I've played against those guys in one form or another, Dead Box, Wild Geese (w/ Jon Necco) Some of the NEX guys, NYX. Sucks but you can't chase what's not there.

So riptide nex is rebuilding and playing axbl Canes are gone boston paintball might build a d2 team from ducks crisis bloodline players. I think Ne won't have another pro team unless jeff hits the lottery or they find some 1 with time and money to pay for them. Then again 1 door closes another 1 opens. The phoenix will always rise from its ashes over time. cheesy quotes yay

Haha cheesy but they work:) lets hope this happens and they do rebuild so NE can establish some dominance.

thats a shame, wonder where guys like Billy Bernacchia and Bart Blonski will end up.

my guess is that bernacchia will end up on red legion, and blonski is going naughty dogs:)
