Bob Long Closer Review
Ok, so I played with the Closer this weekend down in Boston. I had originally planed on play one - or -two games w/ it, and then running my Ego9 the rest of the day... this didn't happen.
Setup:
Bob Long Closer
4c Eyes
MacDev Matchstick Barrel 14"
Dye Rotor
Crossfire 45/45
First Impressions:
I was very impressed with how it felt in my hands! It is very comfy, and just feels awesome, very well balanced. I grabbed the Ego8 to compare weight and feel (since it's what I traded for, for it.) In hands, it's hard to tell which marker is lighter (w/out barrel)(on paper it's the Ego8) but the Closer felt more better.
The Milling:
The milling is very nice. I like the way it looks (my girlfriend hates it), and it looks great from a distance. Up close you can still see some of the machine marks. Mine is a Dust Finish, and it's not awe full just noticeable.
Firing:
I gassed up the closer, through some paint in it.... and OMG!!! I can honestly say that I have shot A LOT OF GAT's... and this is seriously the first marker that I shot... and Ear-to-Ear
.
This is by far my favorite marker that I have shot.... EVER. It feels amazing and comfy in your hands, it is as light as the Ego8, very well balanced, SUPPER SMOOTH!! very accurate, it shoots better then the Ego9, hands down.
Tear down:
This marker is really easy to tear down. 1 screw lets the bolt come out the back, it's very easy to take out and clean. The grip frame is held on by 2 screws, and it is really easy to drop the frame off the body. Very easy to clean, Very easy to tear down and re-assemble.
Over-all:
9.5-10. The flaws in the milling take away from a little, but performance wise... THIS MARKER IS AMAZING!!! and is now my Main Marker w/ the ego9 as the back up!

I'm just surprized that he had something long enough to try it.
