Top Gun

Post by Sean6942 on Mon Mar 15, 2010 11:13 am

Why doesn't someone get a field to host a top gun tournament in maine. Once you do that then maybe you could find players to join your teams.

players aren't an issue, its commitment. and location... everyone is just so spread out, and a lot of the players are younger so it's difficult that way.

but that is still a good idea.

welcome to the site.

yeah a lot of people that wish they could do all the paintwars things they want to can't because of either being in school or (in a lot of cases) not having jobs

Well if there was a top gun tournament say at Bennetts with like a $40 or $50 entry would the people in this forum go? Or maybe even a 2 man tournament like the Dos Amigos held by Rogue in the past?

You could still be on a team and compeat in a top gun tournament. It would really be a day to have fun, BBQ, and play paintball. The whole, scouting out players during the top gun to join your teams was just a hypothetical situation. But yeah, pretty much just for bragging rights, networking with fellow maine paintballers, and the possibility of takin home some cash. I dunno, I always thought it would be fun and if there was enough interest I could make it happen.

All right, now we need to make this happen! Stanks called me out. Let's do it. Kidding aside, the more I think about this the more it seems like a great idea. It would be fun as hell.
